Q. How can I create a Customized Slidebox (PC/Mac)? |
A. All Primal software comes with the facility to build a series of selected views and play them out in sequence. If your presentation involves a series of anatomical diagrams, this may be your easiest and quickest way to build a sequence from the contents of the programs.
The Slidebox function requires the CD-ROM to be present in your computer.
1. Create the slidebox presentation
Find the 3D model view or other image that you want.
Select Slidebox option from menu bar
Choose Add to slidebox – this will open a new slidebox and add the image
Repeat until you have all the images you want (you can minimuse the active slidebox while you are choosing and adding images).
2. Save your Slidebox presentation
Select Slidebox option from the menu bar
Choose Open Slidebox Editor
Choose Action
Then Save Slidebox from
Save the Slidebox in a folder on your hard drive using a unique name – it will be saves as a .sld file.
3. To Retrieve your saved Slidebox Presentation
You must have the relevant CD-ROM from which you have created your Slidebox presentation open.
Select Slidebox option from menu bar
Choose in Open Slidebox Editor
Choose Action
Then Load Slidebox
Retrieve the Slidebox presention from where you have saved it on your hard drive. This should open the Slideboc presentation exactly as you saved it.
The advantage of using the Slidebox is that you can run your selected images, then quickly swap to a live presentation off the CD-ROM itself or back to your hard drive. You can also create Slidebox selections very quickly.
Click on the Slidebox option in the Menu at the stop of the program window. For full explanation of the Slidebox functionality, please consult the Help menu on each program. |

Q. The disc is not recognised by my computer |
A. This problem is usually because the disc is either damaged in some way or your computer does not have the correct hardware to read the disc. If possible try the disc in another computer to see whether the problem is with the disc itself or the computer. Our disc based titles are available on CD-ROM and DVD-ROM. In order to run our software which is on a DVD-ROM, you will need a DVD-ROM drive on your computer. Otherwise the computer will not be able to read the disc. Most new computers come with a DVD-ROM drive, otherwise they can be purchased from any computer hardware store
Check if the disc has any scratches or is damaged in any way. We do replace, free of charge, damaged copies of our CDs and DVDs if they are returned to us together with proof of purchase.
It may be that you need to upgrade to newer versions of our software. Check the technical specifications on the back of your packaging to check compatibility. |
Q. I get an error stating "Error Z001: Internal Error" |

* Double click the icon
